SF POPOS helps you find and explore San Francisco's Privately Owned Public Open Spaces. It shows names, addresses, hours, amenities, photos, maps, and related information. This is informational only. A listing is not a guarantee that a space is open, publicly accessible, safe, or accurately described at the moment you visit. Building owners and the City control access. You are responsible for following posted rules, security, and the law.

Optional features include an account (email, Apple, or Google), synced favorites/visits/collections, issue reports, and profile photos. Details are in the Privacy Policy.

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use SF POPOS for personal, non-commercial purposes.

You may not: copy, scrape, or redistribute the app's catalog, photos, or other content as your own product or competing directory; use the app (or its data) for commercial purposes or public display without permission; reverse engineer the software except where the law allows; remove copyright or proprietary notices; or abuse reports, accounts, or our Firebase backend (spam, false reports at scale, probing other users' data).

POPOS facts may be subject to additional terms from the original public sources (including the San Francisco Planning Department).

Accounts are optional. You are responsible for your login and for anything you submit (profile photo, display name, report notes, feedback). You grant us a limited license to store and use that content only to operate and improve SF POPOS (for example, fixing hours after a report). Location reports may be submitted without an account.

Do not upload illegal, infringing, or abusive content.

The app is provided "as is." We do not guarantee that information is complete, current, or available at all times. Maps, ratings, and photos depend on third-party services (Apple, Google, Firebase) that can fail or change. Use the app and visit POPOS at your own risk.

Information about POPOS is drawn from public sources, including the San Francisco Planning Department and SPUR. We thank and acknowledge them for making this data available. The app's curation, design, photos we host, and software are Snow Studios'. Google Places snippets (ratings/reviews) remain Google's / the original reviewers' content.

We may suspend access if you violate these terms or abuse the service. You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time.
