Yes — InspoTab is completely free, with no ads and no in-app purchases.

Does InspoTab collect any of my data?

No. InspoTab does not collect, sell, or transfer any user data. Your name, favorite quotes, and settings are stored locally in your browser using Chrome's storage API.

Why does it need the storage permission?

Storage is the only permission InspoTab requests. It saves your preferences locally — your name for greetings, your chosen font and theme, and your saved favorite quotes — so they persist between sessions and new tabs. Nothing is ever sent off your device.

Does it work offline?

Yes. Quotes and images ship with the extension, so there are no external API calls and it works without a connection.

Which browsers are supported?

InspoTab is built for Chrome and works in any Chromium-based browser, including Edge, Brave, and Arc.

Beautiful backgrounds and a good quote every time I open a tab. Exactly what I wanted from a new tab page.

I open Chrome and get greeted by name with a fresh quote. It sounds small but it genuinely sets a better tone for the day.

No news feed, no weather widget, no ads. Just a beautiful photo and a quote. Exactly what a new tab should be.

Love the customization

Switching between fonts and light/dark mode keeps things fresh. I do wish there were even more quote categories, but what's here is great.

I've gone through a dozen of these and InspoTab is the first one that didn't feel gimmicky. The daily rotation is perfect.

A small upgrade that makes a difference. Occasionally I'd like to pin a favorite quote, but the core experience is lovely.
